Caribbean in the Mediterranean

A short ferry trip takes you to the La Maddalena National Park. The small town invites you to discover its winding alleys and hidden backstreets. An amazing panoramic drive around the island shows you hidden beaches, emerald green bays and stunning landscapes.

One of Italy’s founding fathers, Giuseppe Garibaldi, lived on the neighbouring island of Caprera. His former estate today is a museum.

A day trip by boat to the Maddalena Archipelago can be organised as an alternative –  postcard scenery guaranteed!
